Lieutenant Colonel Robert W. Wickham

Lieutenant Colonel Wickham enlisted in the Marine Corps in June of 1995. He graduated Recruit Training, The School of Infantry, and The Basic Security Guard School before reporting to Marine Corps Security Force Company, North Island, San Diego, California. While at North Island he served as both a security guard and Company Training NCO.

Lieutenant Colonel Wickham then reported to Interim Security Force Company, Bahrain in January 1998. While there, he served as Corporal and Sergeant of the Guard.

In March 1999, Lieutenant Colonel Wickham reported to Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 3d Marine Regiment, 3d Marine Division, MCB Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. While there, he served as Squad Leader, Section Leader, and Fire Directions Center Chief for the 81mm Mortar Platoon and deployed to Okinawa, Japan as part of the Unit Deployment Program. During this tour he was selected for the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP).

Lieutenant Colonel Wickham received his commission upon completion of MECEP and his graduation from the University of Colorado at Boulder in May 2005. Upon completion of The Basic School and Basic Communications Officer Course, he reported to Marine Wing Communications Squadron 38 in Miramar, California. While with MWCS-38 he served as the Wire Platoon Commander; Detachment OIC, Camp Korean Village, Iraq; Data Platoon Commander; Company Executive Officer; and Company Operations Officer. During this tour he deployed twice in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom.

Lieutenant Colonel Wickham served as the Marine Officer Instructor at The University of Memphis from June 2009 to July 2012. During the summer of 2010 Lieutenant Colonel Wickham augmented as a Platoon Commander, Hotel Company, Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia.

Lieutenant Colonel Wickham reported to Communications Company, Headquarters Battalion, 2d Marine Division in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina in August of 2012. While there, he served as the Company Operations Officer and Commanding Officer from May 2013 to May 2014. Upon relinquishing command, Lieutenant Colonel Wickham transferred to 6th Marine Regiment where he served as the Regimental Communications Officer.

In July 2016, Lieutenant Colonel Wickham reported to 4th Marine Regiment, 3d Marine Division in Okinawa, Japan to serve as the Regimental Communications Officer.

Lieutenant Colonel Wickham next assignment was as Program Manager, Supporting Establishment Systems, Marine Corps Systems Command in Quantico, Virginia from August 2017 to June 2021.

Lieutenant Colonel Wickham reported to the Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group in June 2021 where he served as the Officer-in-Charge, Marine Corps Enterprise Network Enterprise Operations Division. He is currently serving as the Executive Officer, Marine Corps Cyber Operations Group.
