LtCol Ploski assumed duties as the Commanding Officer, 1st Network Battalion on 17 June 2024.
He commissioned through the Officer Candidate Course in August 2006 at Officer Candidate School, Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA.
His command assignments include Company B, 7th Communication Battalion and Platoon Commander, Marine Wing Communications Squadron 28.
His staff assignments include: Adjutant and Detachment XO/Ops O, Marine Wing Communications Squadron 28; Action Officer, HQMC C4 Department; Network Operations Officer, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing G-6 Department; Operational Architect, Aide-de-Camp, and Division Operations Officer, HQMC Combat Development and Integration; S-6, 10th Marines; and Operations Officer, II Marine Expeditionary Force G-6 Department.
LtCol Ploski holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management from the Naval Postgraduate School.
His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal with gold star in lieu of second award, the Navy Commendation Medal with gold star and the Navy Achievement Medal.
