Biography

Major Caceres is a native of Nacogdoches, Texas and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps in May 2017 after graduating from the United States Naval Academy.

Following her commissioning, she attended The Basic School in Quantico, Virginia, graduating in December 2017. Upon completion of The Basic School, she was assigned as a Communications Officer and attended Basic Communications Officer Course in Twentynine Palms, California, graduating in June 2018.

From June 2018 to August 2019, Second Lieutenant Caceres was assigned to Marine Wing Communications Squadron 18 in Okinawa, Japan, where she served as a Platoon Commander. During this tour, she supported contingency planning efforts and participated in two exercises in South Korea.

From August 2019 to May 2021, First Lieutenant Caceres was assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron 172 as the Communications Officer. In that position, she conducted communications planning in support of multiple exercises across the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility.

In July 2021, First Lieutenant Caceres reported to the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. While attending graduate school, Captain Caceres completed Expeditionary Warfare School and Command and Staff College. She graduated in June 2023 with a Master of Science in Information Technology Management.

In July 2023, Captain Caceres was assigned to the Technology Services Organization in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she served as an Information Technology Project Manager supporting data pipeline modernization projects.

In June 2026, Major Caceres reported to 1st Network Battalion where she now serves as the Executive Officer.

Her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
